When I first started this, I was terrified. I am not a selfie kind of person, I get really self-conscious, and putting myself out there felt so far out of my comfort zone.

I have always been a girly girl, but growing up with all brothers, and now living with my husband and two football-mad boys, I needed something that felt like me again.

I have loved tanning since I was about 12. I have tried it all, and one day I thought, why not turn something I love into something more?

After having my babies, my body changed a lot. Stretch marks, loose skin, all of it. I loved the way fake tan made my stretch marks look softer and just gave me more confidence. And if I am honest, I never had the confidence to go to a salon and get a spray tan done. I have done it and hated it. That was a me problem, not the salon. So I always did my tan myself.

But I realised something. I cannot be the only one who feels like this.

There are so many people who do not do things for themselves because they feel self-conscious. I want you to know I am not here to judge. I have seen bodies of all shapes and sizes, and I truly understand how scary it can feel. You are safe with me.
